We purchased our stroller a little over 2 years ago. We selected it because we were living on a farm and needed a 4wd! (My husband is also a JEEP lover so it was a good fit for our family) Our stroller has been fantastic! Our son enjoys it and has never complained about it. It is easy to maneuver and handles the bumps with ease. Our tires have rarely gone flat and we have never had a puncture. It has been easy to clean.
We have had one mishap, an overzealous airport baggage handler damaged the wheel shroud, but other than that it is in great condition. Yes. We flew with our jeep overseas. it is a little bulky for travel but people are amazed at how easy it is to fold and compact too for its size.
We love the adjustable height handle, my husband is considerably taller than me so it comes in handy.
Overall we think it is great!

Good Stroller ... Horrible Tires!

I purchased this stroller shortly after the birth of my daughter and I was initially very pleased with my purchase. The stroller itself was easy to put together, fit easily in the back of my car, and adjustments for my daughter's size and comfort were easy to make. The stroller is very sturdy and is great for running at the park and navigating the rough sidewalks of my neighborhood. There is however one major drawback to this stroller ... the TIRES!! The tires go flat at the drop of a hat and the tubes pop easily. I have replaced the tubes in each tire multiple times with puncture resistant tubes and still seem to be having problems. Now, one of my tires is completely threadbare and needs to be replaced. I am currently debating on whether I should replace just the tire or the stroller as a whole, considering I've nearly paid for the stroller twice just in new tubes for the tires. Grrr...

We purchased the stroller and really like it. It seemed comfortable for our son, had the right amount of storage. Worked well. Then through an unfortunate string of events my son, while strapped in his stroller, fell off a 30'+ cliff. He survived a nasty drop with but some superficial bumps and bruises. The stroller did not. It died, BUT it kept my son safe. While I dont recommend testing a stroller this way, I was so pleased with its performance we went out and purchased another. You should too.

In today's economic climate, it's rare for me to find such attentive and courteous customer service. Much less is there that kind of superior customer service that I feel compelled to take the time to express my pleasure; more often, I find myself writing a supervisor to express my displeasure with the customer service I have received. I am glad to say that the customer service I received from Kolcraft Customer Service is of the most excellent caliber.
My wife and and, unfortunately, have had constant issues with the stroller. When I contacted Kolcraft regarding warranty service, the Kolcraft Customer Representative helped me through the process that ultimately resultied in a decision to replace the entire stroller. Though we were initially disappointed that the stroller didn't meet our durability and craftsmanship standards, we also understand that from time-to-time products do fail in the manufacturing process. Customer Service was always courteous in their emails to me and in our phone contacts. In addition, the representative provided helpful and clear instructions with regards to receiving warranty service/replacement.
As a business person, customer service also makes or breaks my own service to clients; therefore, I feel it is important to recognize those employees who exemplify what it is to provide real customer service and helps companies standout in the crowd.
Despite the issues with our initial stroller, it has been a good product and we look forward to a long-life with the new stroller we have received. Don't be dissuaded by the fact that we had issues with the stroller, manufacturing issues do happen from time-to-time and we are confident that the replacement will meet our standards. With proper care (e.g., keeping the stroller clean, tires inflated properly), this stroller is an excellent value.
As a caveat, like any product, don't expect replacement if you are abusing or not maintaining it like you would your bicycle. We have cared for our Jeep Stroller like we would any our bicycles and outdoor equipment, and we're happy to have Kolcraft work with us with integrity and fairness to resolve the issues.

Pros: Lightweight, easy to care for, rides/pushes/tracks well on all terrain, good value for money, excellent customer service
Cons: not as beefy as other strollers on the market, too many plastic parts that may wear quicker
