Best Stroller Around

Child Age: 12 - 18 months
I can't say enough good things about this stroller. I've converted some of my weathier friends to using this less expensive more versatile stroller. Though it's heavy to pick up after folding, the easy steering from the three wheel option makes it lighter than the rickety stroller/carseat sets I used to have. The only down side is that my son doesn't have a tray... but to be honest, he shouldn't really be snacking while strolling anyway if he's too young to hold onto his snack himself.
Every time I am in a public place with this stroller, I have other parents approach me and ask what kind and how much this stroller is. When I tell them, they all seem pleasantly surprised. Most of them are sick of having to really steer with both hands, having to only use a certain brand of carseat, having their toddler only have the option of facing forward (which isn't that great of an idea for shy kids or for kids who are too young to realize that mommy is just behind him.
My Favorite Feature: The seating options and three wheels.
Pros: Durable, Easy To Maneuver, Comfortable For Baby, Easy To Fold, Ample Storage
Cons: No Child Cupholder

I did not have 300 - 600 dollars to buy one of those super fancy strollers that let my baby face me. I just wanted to keep bonding with my baby and not turn him away from me just because he had outgrown his car seat that attached to the other stroller I had. I searched hard and came across this stroller. Mine is now 3 years old and I would never buy another stroller (except for the new colors). Don't be forced to stop bonding with your baby just because "most" strollers don't give you another option. You will love this stroller and how it seems to glide. It fold easy and compact.

Awesome stroller, very pleased!

We have been using this stroller for almost 2 years now. I bought a previous version of Contours 3 wheels in fall of 2009, so I take it that this one is even more advanced.
Everythign about this stroller was awesome...color, durability, price..the only downfall was that you had to take it apart in two parts when folding, BUT NOW this current version has the easy fold!!!!!
We used the strolles from day one with the car seat attachement for Peg Pereggo Primo Viaggio...or even just putting the baby in the stroller ..it is great for both!
I highly recommend this one !

Love this stroller. It does everything! The only downfall is the width. I'm always hitting corners in the store with the tires.

LOVE this stroller!!

My favorite aspect of this stroller is all of the different options that it has for seating! You can have the seat facing forward, backward, use the car seat attachment, or you could just have no seat at all and use the bottom compartment for storage. The seats are very easily removable with the touch of a button on. Each side of the seat has a red button and when you press them both at the same time and lift up the seat comes right off. They are SO simple to change around and anyone can figure out how to do it.
I love that you can use this stroller with your car seat. It is so nice to be able to have my baby in his infant seat while in the stroller and be able to chase my 2 year old around.
All of the other strollers that we have tried say that they have "reclining seats" but they have nothing on this stroller! You can recline the seats on the Contours options strollers almost all of the way flat and the foot rest also folds flat so that your kiddo can lay all of the way down.
Cup Holders are a must in ANY stroller. It is so frustrating not having anywhere to put your drink, your kiddos sippy cup/bottle, or even just a place to put your keys. It is so nice for my 2 year old to be able to have his cup close by so that I don't have to keep handing it to him or to have my babies bottle accessible so that I don't have to dig for it when he is hungry.
These cup holders are also really nice because they have slits in the bottom of them to let water that collects drip out of the bottom that so that it doesn't just pool up and get things wet.
The thing that I love the most about three wheeled strollers is the fact that you can turn the stroller so easily and quickly. The ride is very smooth and it rolls great on all kinds of different surfaces. It has a swiveling wheel on the front so that it can basically turn on a dime. The front wheel of the stroller also has a lock on it so that it doesn't turn when you don't want it too.
The storage basket is nice and large and easy to get into. It is easier to access things when you are using the car seat attachment because it is up higher, but you can very easily get to all of your things with the stroller sear attached. I am able to fit our big diaper bag, my purse, and drinks into the bottom and still be able to get to everything.

No rain cover available

While this may be a great stroller, the fact that there is not a compatible rain cover for it is disappointing. Universal or jogging stroller covers don't seem to fit either. I will have to return the stroller although I love it. Kolcraft, you may want to reconsider making covers for products as "unique" as this.

Great stroller!!!!

I have the new Contours Options 3 Wheeler and love it so far. I have tried my daughter in many many strollers before found this one to fit her needs. My daughter is on the older spectrum of needing a stroller, so that is the perspective I am coming from. My 3 yr old has arthritis and often needs a break from walking, so a comfortable stroller is a must.
My daughter is tall and skinny. While the back of the seat is too short, I fixed the problem by velcroing the infant head pillow up higher so that my daughter has a soft place to rest her head. She loves her new stroller. She prefers it over expensive umbrella stroller and expensive jogger.
Cons: The seat back is a little too small for our needs, but it is the same size as all the other strollers out there. The only other issue is the child safety bar that goes across their body. Since by daugther is older, I don't need it and it prevents her from getting in and out by herself (which is the point of it, it's a safety bar). The things that are on the side to connect it come up higher than some other strollers. I have however made them soft and not an issue by velcroing padding around it.
****Please note that my daughter is older than the average child in a stroller. The only reason I altered it was so that she could safely get in and out by herself****
PROS:
I love the design. Very nice stroller. I feel great pushing it compared to other outragously expensive strollers.
I love love love that the canopy is height adjustable and big enough to block the sun. Her head has plenty of room to be. Most other strollers her head pushed on the top of the canopy.
I love the HUGE storage basket with easy access. So many other strollers lack easy access.
My daughter and I both love our own cup holders that don't get in the way.
The easy seat tilt is much smoother than others I have. My daughter did not wake up when I tilted it back. I was also able to sit her up without having her lean forward or get her out, which is sometimes very painful for her.
I love the ease of switching the seat from facing out or towards the parent. My daughter requests which way she wants to face.
The stoller is amazingly smooth to push around.
Once I tried a few times to fold and open it up, it is really easy to use. The simple latch to lock it is much easier than tying the brake strap on other strollers out there.
I love the wheels. I have hit them pretty hard already and they have not budged. I also don't have to worry about it popping.
I really wished I had a baby to use it for. I wish I got this instead of the 5 strollers I have had. Unlike most other convertable strollers, this one came with the carset adapter.
Helpful hint for those who complain about instruction and ease of assembly. I thought the instructions could be a little more detailed, but it's really easy to figure out. I suggest a battery operated screwdriver, It made life much easier. Move the front swivel wheels to the side to attach the wheel cover (didn't figure that one out right away).
Overall, I love it, my daughter loves it and I plan on using to all the time.

pretty good

I bought this stroller for my son two years ago. I was really happy with the purchase. First of all, it looks great and is as stylish as the expensive brands. It also is incredibly easy to wheel, even now that my son is bigger. I did not find that he outgrew it and the seat still fits him perfectly although he is two and a half. The reversible seat is fantastic and really easy to switch. This is not a common feature in most strollers and I definitely think it's a great benefit. Two of the features that I really like are the tray and cup holder (I didn't want to look at any stroller without a tray) and the basket underneath. The basket is huge, and holds eveything. It is in perfect condition even after often carrying fifty pounds of heavy library books! My Peg Perego basket was so flimsy it ripped without anything in it. I just have two major problems with it. The first is that the foam handle is ripped and shredded. This makes the carriage look old and worn. I called up and was told there is absolutely nothing that can be done as the handle does not come off. I even asked if there was something that I could buy to put on top but was told there is nothing. The second thing is that the seat is not washable. I did not realize this when i bought it. Obviously, the carriage has gotten dirty over the past 2 years. I tried removing screws in order to get the seat cusion off and I almost succeeded except there is one part that is sewn on. If they only would have done it with snaps the whole thing could slide off. Instead, I tried to wash it in my bathtub as best as I could since part of it was still attached to the seat frame. It helped but not nearly as much as a good soak in the washing machine would. So now, I have a dirty ripped stroller that still works very well but does not look so good.
My Favorite Feature: reversible seat, style, basket, tray
Pros: Durable, Easy To Maneuver, Comfortable For Baby, Ample Storage, Stylish, reversible seat
Cons: seat cushion not washable, foam handle rips easily and is not replacable

We looked a lot of strollers and found this one matches up with most of our wants in a design. We are a tall couple and needed a stroller that we would not kick as we walked. Good sized, easily accessible basket, smooth and easy to push ride. Very satisfied with the purchase!
Pros: Easy To Maneuver, Comfortable For Baby, Easy To Fold, Ample Storage, good for tall people

A Great All Aorund Stroller

My youngest child hates strollers, keeping her in one takes a miracle, so when I saw that the Contours Options 3 Wheeler Stroller allows the child to face backwards I wanted to try it out with my daughter. I was hoping that if she could see me she would be more likely to stay in the stroller. When the stroller arrived I was immediately struck by how big it is, this is an impressive sized stroller, I prefer mine small, but small can't cut it in the snow and I need a stroller for all kinds of weather. The wheels are nice and big and this stroller accommodates my Britax infant car seat which makes me very happy. The other fantastic feature is the reversible seat, it is so easy to flip the seat front to back, it literally takes seconds. The size of the seat is also great and it even fits my very tall 3 year old plus it has a nice cup holder and snack tray for parents ( a must for me).
We took the stroller to the mall for a test run. First of all it did great in the snowy parking lot, so I was already happy with it. The handle bar is nice and tall which I love since I am 5'9" and it steers really well. The large basket held all four of our winter coats and two bags which is impressive and the best news of all my daughter stayed in the stroller the whole trip! I am so thrilled with how much she liked facing me, this will make life so much easier!
My Favorite Feature: Child can face backwards
Pros: Durable, Easy To Maneuver, Comfortable For Baby, Ample Storage
Cons: large

Lotta stroller for GREAT value!

The Contours 3 in 1 stroller is a great value! To start, I was very impressed by the ease of assembly. My husband and I tend to be
challenged in this area but we had no problems and set the whole thing up in about 15 minutes. The seat is super easy to move from forward to
rear facing and can be done with one click of a button. My nanny loves how easy it is to push around the city streets. While it is not
as light weight to carry as some of the other brands we looked at, when pushing it, it glides very easily. We have gotten the front wheel
stuck on a few bumps but for the most part, given that we live downtown Chicago, we are very pleased with the agility of the tires.
The basket below is the biggest basket I have seen on a stroller and I love being able to go to the grocery store and not having to carry my
bags home! The three cup holders are also a big bonus.
A bit bulky, it is very easy to collapse but would recommend an umbrella stroller to keep in the car. My only complaint about the stroller in general is the height if the seat. My son is 18 mos and his head is already over the top of the seat. I am afraid he will grow out of it before he is two. He is above average in height (75%) but am still a bit surprised that he is already growing out of a stroller.
Pros: large basket, glides easily thru city streets, 3 cup holers
Cons: height of seat
